Reglan helped tremendously to get my eating habits back to normal. I have gastroparesis, and I sometimes find it very hard to eat a whole meal without feeling sick. Reglan (5mg) before meals fixed that for me. I also had terrible acid reflux while sleeping, and Reglan before bed helped that, too! I don't take Reglan everyday, or even with every meal, but on days where I am stressed or just not feeling good it's priceless. When I was first diagnosed with gastroparesis I took Reglan everyday and it did increase my anxiety level over time (after about 1.5 years). I don't recommend taking it everyday for a long period of time (more than a year), but taking it occasionally for nausea after meals and acid reflux at night it has been a great help to me. It also helped me recover and learn to eat correctly for my condition after I was diagnosed. Gastroparesis can be unpredictable, with stress and food triggers that are hard to control, but Reglan helps me take care of the symptoms when they do come up.

This medication was prescribed as a trial due to the fact that I was having several stomach issues. This worked for a couple of days but it did not agree with me eventually. I had irregular bowels.
