About SOD
SOD is the acronym for an antioxidant called Superoxide Dismutase. It is also an anti-inflammatory. SOD is an enzyme that repairs cells and reduces the damage done to them by a common free radical found in the human body called superoxide. It is known for its anti-aging properties because it reduces the free radicals that can lead to wrinkles and precancerous cell changes.
