27 Aug 2014 UNCOMMON SIDE EFFECTS Significant issues with the medication, that were not listed in the common side effects. Side effects include: 1) Significant worsening of asthma - requiring a tripling of my asthma meds; 2) Almost constant diarrhea; 3) Earache of feeling of pressure at the beginning section of the ear canal; 4) Extreme exhaustion/sleepiness and difficulty in even keeping my eyes open at mid-day, every day; 5) Feelings of aggression/hostility and a very low tolerance for people (in normal office setting); and 6) VERY low sex drive. ON the medication for 3 months and all these symptoms disappeared within a week of stopping Seasonale. Most notable was the improvement in my asthma, which I take Singular for - I am now back to needing 1 tablet every 18hours, from one every 8 (with more difficulty breathing).

21 Oct 2010 Seasonale has been good for me. I have stopped getting lots of breakthrough bleeding. I love that I only have to get a period every 3 months. This is my second package and have noticed irritability about 3 days before my period actually came (when I was taking the placebos). I noticed that I get really hot and cannot stand the heat, but I also get really cold and cannot tolerate that either. I am not sure if it is actually the Seasonale because I have had bronchitis for the last 3 weeks. I dont have anything negative against it because I have been on really bad birth control (such Evra, pregnancy occured 2 times while taking it as directed!). When you have problems with breakthrough bleeding that interferes with your life, any birth control is worth a try.

09 Jun 2010 This birth control caused me to have really bad mood swings. I flipped between being extremely sad and depressed to becoming violent and crazy. I only took this medicine for about a week before I had to switch.

23 May 2010 I am a sufferer of menstrual migraines. I don't have bad periods, just a migrain for 7 days. Its hard to function with one full week out of the month designated to nursing a migrain. Seasonale has decreased these substantially!!! No spotting, easy period. This pill seemed to work like its supposed to for me. During the 4th month I am having some of the tight, heavy chest feeling and my blood pressure is too high all of a sudden. Working with the doctor to see what the cause is.
