26 Oct 2011 Very discouraged at the loss of my sex drive and difficulty trying to cum. When I do cum, the feeling that you look forward to doesn't come.

14 Mar 2012 Dear Debbi I have been taking Subutex for one year starting this past April 1st. (2011) My memory takes several days to to a week to recover and by that I mean that I recall that I have already told (more like suspect) somebody the subject or topic that is in on my mind. My personal belief is that you have to stop taking Subutex (for a short while) to regain your memory. By that I mean, try to stop for a day or two or not to take the max everyday. Although this drug is far from effective, I find that the trade offs (short term memory loss) generally disappear. By that I mean, I have to completely stop taking it for several days before I start to regain my memory. The past few days, I have had to use it 3-4 times a day and I am as forgetful as it gets. (I will tell my wife that I have had to take a "stupid" pill and she understands. If your pain is as bad as mine is, (hence a high dosage) you will continue to have short term memory issues. Frankly I felt much better on opiods (oxycontin) than I feel on subutex. I have also tried and am currently taking Suboxone, it is expensive and right in the circular, it states "not to be taken for pain relief." (I wound not go there) I don't know what my doctor was thinking, but I intend to find out. As far as your sex life is concerned, my "flag pole" is down and out. The bad news (to me) is that my wife doesn't care. I miss it terribly. It comes down to choices: do I want pain, memory loss and/or a sex life. Unfortunately, one has to compromise between love, memory and pain. I really sucks. I'm sorry for your dilemma, but I too, live it every day. I hope that this helps you to at least understand your multiple losses. One more thing, unless you really like your doctor, dump him ASAP and find a pain specialist. What to do? You can't take opiods and Subutex back to back as they counteract each other. This maybe why you are feeling the way you are. Your doctor sounds undereducated in the field of Pain Management. As far as effective pain control, don't worry about addiction, it is not the same as dependance. If you find that you are robbing Pharmacies to get pain relief, THAT is addiction. Dependance is the body needing the drug to avoid "withdrawal" symptoms. Remember, you are not crazy, but try your best to get to the root of problem that brought you to this point. Best of luck, Don

14 Mar 2012 Could you please tell me if or how long it took to regain your short term memory back? I was using Subutex for severe Fybromyalgia for 1 1/2 years and thought I was losing my mind. I have NEVER used/abused any illegal or prescription so I was in shock. Specialist told me to taper off and I followed it exactly and then I went to hell and back. I was unable to sleep, and felt nausea, diar., and worse felt like millions of ants were running up and down my knees to ankles. After 3 days my husband took me to ER and he told us i was going through withdrawel. He had me then take Vicodin and then to taper off ASAP, so I took 3x a day twice, 2x twice, and then 1x for two days. No help and still going through w/d, so after two trips to Urgent Care refusing to take ANYTHING that was addicting/narcotics/opiods etc., FINALLY he gave me a high blood pressure medication that I would ALSO have to taper off. What was supposed to take eight days has now turned into an additional two weeks of HELL! I am afraid I won't regain my memory because it is still bad. I am mostly upset at my ignorance about taking this drug and should have done more research before starting this RX, but I ASSUMED (my bad) since the very FIRST THING I TOLD HIM WAS THAT I DID NOT WANT TO DO OR TAKE ANYTHING THAT WOULD CAUSE ADDICTION!!!!!! So, I hope you/anybody can give me a answer as I can't find anyone on computer to address this. I APPRECIATE ANY HELP REGARDING the short term memory. My caps are not yelling, well maybe one time, but I am 53 years old and not know ALL of the rules of texting/social networking even though my son and granddaughter keep telling me to stop using caps for emphasis!!!!!!! Thanks

13 Oct 2010 I have been in a motorbike accident,2004. so i started on Temgesic.almost the same thing... But I will recommend all people to only use SUBUTEX,if u are addicted,to heroin, because subutex use over time, will make u feel down mentaly, mutch easier. That is my exsperient...now I have gone back too temgesic, but has started to trapp down because I know howe I vill feel when,I am clean..And I have been off 3 times,so I know that it is posibul, but it take 8-10 days before you feel well againe, but it is the psykologisk aspect, that you will feel worse about... but it is important to have things to do,and not be in the room you use to be in when taking subutx..start to walk for 40 min the first days,it will make it easyer. But remember every person is different, from the other..Good luck to all off you out there,ms.
