I do not like visine my eyes water too much with it and it stings

Drug is easily applicable which in great when there is intense eye irritation. Simple application leads to easy results.

Get blurry eyes for about 20 min. after I use the drops, but then it goes away and works really well.

Gets rid of the redness too, unlike some other drops out there.

The redness is due to inflammation of the blood vessels in the eye. Visine-A contains the ingredient, Naphazoline, which causes vasoconstriction or constriction of the blood vessels in the eye. This relieves the redness. Other ingredients that relieve redness include Ephedrine, Phenylephrine and Tetrahydrozoline.

I was sick of taking Benadryl Allergy because it made me really drowsy and I was really tired the next morning. I started using Visine-A to avoid the drowsiness, but it didn't really do anything for the itching. Visine is good for getting rid of the redness though.

Eye drops are great because they avoid the systemic side effects of anti-histamines, such as drowsiness. You could try other types of drops to relieve the itchiness, such as Zaditor and Optivar. Good luck.
