User Comments about Zoladex
17 May 2012 The side effects of Zoladex are so bad the drug should be banned. It gave me full blown diabetes &, memory loss both of which may not be reversible. I believe the only reason it was givem me was the very high cost $1200 the profit from which goes to the Doctor that subscribed it.

21 Apr 2012 I am 81 years of age and was in very good health. I had IBRT and put on zoladex 10.8 injection. The third month was terrible I had heart problems, nausea, weakness. Impaired memory. I went to another doctor who said i should never have been given Zoladex at my age and told me not to take any more. I am trying to find out how long I will haveto wait for the side effects to wear off.

15 Jan 2012 My father is on Zoladex for prostate cancer. He seems to have developed little obsessive behaviours - like counting cigarettes, the money in his pocket and writing notes. And a slurping sound with his mouth. I also feel he is sinking into a deep depression and wonder if it's the Zoladex. I am taking him to the doc tomorrow. He never complains about anything so it's difficult to know. I was a nurse in the past though and see changes that are not simply age related. He's been like a dead man walking lately. As if the soul is dying in him. No idea if it's the zoladex - but am going to have it checked. Lara
