The generic name of this medication is thyroxine and brand names are Armour Thyroid and Bio-Throid.

The active ingredient of this medication is thyroxine. Inactive ingredients include calcium stearate, dextrose, microcrystalline cellulose, sodium starch glycolate and opadry white.

Mainly used in treating underactive thyroid or hypothyroidism.

30 May 2019 Formula must have been changed. Had used successfully for years when made by Forest but now it makes me itch, my hair is falling out, eyebrows and eyelashes are gone. So tired and cold. Price has more than tripled and no benefit.
