I tore my meniscus in my right knee and had arthroscopic surgery. I also had knee pain due to arthritis. I had cortisone shots and also suparcz in five series of injections - didn't work. I also had to use a cane. I read about ashwagandha on AOL health news and thought it sounded harmless enough to try. After about 6 months, I began to notice less pain. Then gradually, I was able to put away the cane and continue wearing my heels and have recommended ashwagandha to everyone I know who has arthritic or any type of pain as well as stress. I have a cousin with matastatic cancer and she is now taking it to cut back on her pain killers. She swears it is helping her with pain management. If it wasn't for ashwagandha, I would have had the double knee surgery the surgeon wanted me to have back in mid 2010.

I've only been taking this for a few weeks but I certainly notice a change. I have observed myself becoming more stressed out in the last few months, and this had started manifesting itself in tension in my back and neck and headaches. Furthermore, my mind was racing at a hundred miles an hour. Now I feel calmer, more relaxed and generally myself again. I just hope the effects last!

It is difficult to find credible info regard this product; how long to take for; and how much to take. It is also difficulty to find a supply, normally I have to order directly from the manufacturer, who deliver it to a local shop, which takes quite a few days. I take before food. Sometimes, when starting the drug, I will take double drops, but only for a short while. More info needed!
