The active ingredient of this medication is atropine sulfate.

It is manufactured by AstraZeneca Private Limited.

This medication used to provide mild sedation.

Common Uses:

This medication used to provide mild sedation.

Off Label Uses:

None noted currently.

Side Effects:
Bradycardia;
Flushing;
Palpitations;
Tachycardia CNS stimulation (restlessness, tremor);
Confusion;
Dizziness;
Drowsiness;
Fever (especially in children);
Headache;
Insomnia;
Urticaria bloated feeling;
Constipation;
Dysphagia;
Heartburn.

Cautions / Warnings:

Not recommended in people with:
Allergic reactions to this medication or any of its ingredients;
GI tract conditions like paralytic ileus; intestinal atony in elderly or debilitated patient;
Acute hemorrhage;
Myasthenia gravis;
Acute intermittent porphyrinuria.

It is also not recommended in pregnant women; women who are planning on becoming pregnant; and nursing mothers.

Drug Interactions:
Anticoagulants;
Anticholinergic agents;
Haloperidol;
Phenothiazines.
