20 Sep 2011 This medication by itself has worked ok for my blood pressure, but has worked out well for my edema. Because of this I have been using it with another high blood pressure medication. The only draw back that I've had with it is the cotton mouth that I get if I walk much without having water with me.

08 Mar 2011 Doctor added this to my atenolol to reduce blood pressure. It has reduced my blood pressure some but not very much. I find that staying hydrated on this drug is a constant battle. I carry water with me everywhere and drink water constantly, but still feel thirsty frequently. Also I wake up every morning with a very dry mouth which is the worst side effect.
