User Comments about Catuaba
25 May 2014 effects were consistent with the dosages taken and no more than 8 teaspoons of the pulverized bark were taken per day. more often less than 4 teaspoons was needed to achieve the same effects. i never ingested the Catuaba bark directly or without a proportionate combination of the herb Damiana (2/7th the weight of the Catuaba made in the same tea) however soaking the herbs in boiling water for 8+ minutes made its ingestion very simple and enjoyable with the addition of lemon juice and sometimes other teas (a yerba mate' or green tea bags were sometimes added to a cup of the herbal tea then warming it in a microwave; for stimulating the increase of arousal, and occasionally diminishing any desire to participate in conversation or maintain a higher standard of social consideration as a unique side effect only occurring when caffeinated teas were added to the herbs. [no attempts were ever made to isolate caffeine as the cause of this since during the entirety of my experimentation with these 2 herbs were during a very strict period of adhering to healthy exclusively natural standards of nutrition {no artificial ingredients or gluttonous portions}; also during the first month of ingestion I was on a vegan diet {the last month of a 2 year 'religious' devotional practice} where after considerable thought i had decided with an equal amount of determination to focus on the effects of the herbs when on a more protein rich diet, so the switch to Pescetarianism and iron supplements {containing protein/nutrient extracts from many other animals} with the subsequent commitment to evaluating the full breadth of the {nearly euphoric} sensations of vitality and exhilaration] the extremity of and robustness of the revitalization along with a desire to explore and discover adventure had quickly overtaken the preliminary goals of measuring its energizing effects exclusively (documented yoga practice and stamina measurements were replaced with the occasional usage of gym equipment/weight training and many extensively spontaneous nature hikes and long hours of running on the beach and in parks) with the addition of COMPLETELY CURING any and all previously observed forms of sexual dysfunction and inadequacy PERMANENTLY.) i would also like to highlight the fact that after taking these 2 herbs daily and consistently for less than a year that they had COMPLETELY CURED any and all previously observed forms of sexual dysfunction PERMANENTLY. insecure feelings of personal inadequacy or any nervous notions of their addictive potential as either causing any dependance for any sexual arousal or the increasing of sensual sensitivity {problems i have had since puberty} was quickly forgotten in the almost immediate integration into my daily vitamin regiment. in consideration of its invigorating and almost non-stimulating {as in: no nervousness no shakiness no exhaustion/fatigue afterwards no withdrawal and no excessive forms of self-consciousness or fearful awareness} effects and efficiently energizing, high metabolism maintaining, ability to revitalize and passionately motivate me (or anyone on a healthy balanced diet, i presume) i recommend these two herbs Catuaba and Damiana as invigorating tonics for any of their beneficial effects, or as a permanent cure for sexual dysfunction (although the long term of no less than 3 months of consistent consumption is recommended for curing the dysfunction, the symptoms however disappear immediately). If this herbal tonic were to become popular at gyms or coed sports clubs surely our cultures would become much more socially involved and considerate of others while motivating a sense of adventure and creative exploration in those pursuing exercise. i strongly believe we could replace alcohol with just these two herbal ingredients and still maintain effective social lubrication. in other words i have not ingested these 2 herbs in any amount for exactly 4.5 years now, yet i am still passionately invigorated increasing inspired everyday. i do wish to take these herbs again but in the area where i live now there is no place nearby to buy these herbs. i know i could have some shipped here but the desire to take catuaba and damiana again does not exceed the costs of shipping and handling (which is not that much at all). this says a lot about the (long term {@ least 5 years} presumably) permanent effects caused by these herbs. we need some scientific neurological tests and studies performed on the endocrinology produced by these 2 herbs. I am male, so i do not know if these herbs work or behave differently for the other gender.
