User Comments about Insulin Lispro SubQ
01 Jun 2012 I've been on insulin lispro (Humalog) for a long time and found it to be far better than Actrapid for achieving good BG control. My usual dose is around the 6iu mark before main meals plus any needed if i fancy a pastry when I'm out during the day. It's been great for getting a high BG down quickly as well. I use it with Lantus, which I take before breakfast (20iu). My HbA1c is usually in the region of 6.5%.
