User Comments about Lercanidipine
20 Apr 2019 It took me almost a year to stop feeling tired and headachy all the time, but lercanidipine was the only BP tablet that didn’t spike my tinnitus. All the other ones I tried, made the tinnitus unbearable. However, two years down the track, I have developed a dry mouth, my insomnia is really bad, I have leaden legs, and I get tired very easily.

20 Apr 2019 I was on lercanidipine and suffered just as you are. I was switched to indapamide 2.5mg and I’ve never looked back. Speak to your Gp and give it a try as I find I suffer no side effects. Good luck

29 Aug 2018 Been taking this drug for 3 weeks. I take it at 0600-0630 in the morning 30 mins before breakfast. If im on a let shift or on a day off I go back to bed and this pill knocks me out. I have been doing my blood pressure which has reduced and I am feeling less aggressive or snappy. Down side, ifeel absolutely shattered. I do work 12 hr shifts but definitely feel more tired on these. I have also noticed constipation and aching shoulders. I made myself go to he gym this morning and was shattered in 15 minutes on the bike at a moderate speed. I am due a review at the Doctors on the 3rd September

21 May 2018 I started on10mgx1 per day then increased to 1x10mg twice per day as BP was not controlled. Had to go back to 1x10mg per day as side effects were intolerable.(swollen, hard, red, hot lower legs and feet , worse late evening and disturbance of sleep. Also I have itchy rash on my back. ) Now have furosemide added to medications although as I have level3 kidney disease this is not ideal. My BP is still erratic and sometimes concerning.

22 Apr 2018 I have switched from Lercanidipine to taking Felodipine 5 mg twice a day. This works fine for me, the reason for this was I could not tolerate taking the 10 mg at one time.
