User Comments about Leritine
10 Sep 2020 I was given Laritine only once in my life. Never again! I was in the hospital being treated for acute polymyositis. I was in extreme pain that nothing was alleviating. The MD ordered Laritine to be administered via IV. It knocked me out for about 4 hours, When I awoke I was almost completely blind. 36 years later my vision has improved but I am still classified as legally blind and the condition is classified as permanent. That was from one dose; I do not know what the amount was.

11 Oct 2010 Leritine is the only drug that relieves my pain. My doctor prescribed this drug for me approximately 15 years ago. I used the drug for approximately 3 weeks, until I no longer needed it. Years later, I requested this drug from my doctor, to relieve severe pain. I was informed that the drug was no longer available. I live with severe, chronic pain (the result of being hit by a car when I was 15 years of age) and have exhausted all methods to relieve the pain. I will never forget those 3 weeks using leritine; pain free, able to conduct my daily activities, and with no obvious side effects that I am aware of. Leritine is simply the best drug I've ever had to treat my condition. If I could have access to this drug for only a short period of time, I would at least experience a time in life without pain before I die. There are no words to describe how important this drug is to me. I wish it were manufactured again, and made available to treat conditions like mine.

22 Aug 2016 I was in a motorcycle accident in 1974 and had the bottom of my foot ground off on the pavement. The pain was hideous. I was given morphine, demerol and dilaudid, none of which helped at all. Then they gave me Leritine. For 3 1/2 hours after a shot my pain was TOTALLY gone and I felt alive again! Now 42 years later I find it is no longer manufactured anywhere because some idiots in Florida got drunk on vodka, took Leritine and died. Now you and I have to suffer because of those idiots. I just pray you and I don't ever get cancer.

21 Jan 2009 In 1984 I was given a single dose (as in One Time Only) of leritine IV push for severe pain and was knocked out for about 4 hours. When I awoke I was legally blind as in almost total darkness; I was later diagnosed with bilateral wet macular degeneration and bilateral neovascularization, the latter of which required laser surgery to arrest its progression. Although my eyesight has improved significantly since the initial injury, I am still legally blind, and the condition is considered to be permanent. I have since been told that there is a medication that should have been administered within 3 months that would have reversed the damage to my eyes before it bacame permanent, but it was never administered.
