I had taken Marax in the mid 70s and as a 16 year old "in charge" of her medication, I probably took more than prescribed and suffered severe anxiety attacks. Sometimes so debilitating, I wanted to jump out of my skin. Then I would crash and thought I was going to die. After Marax, was Theophylline and I was not introduced to inhalers until probably the late 80s or 90s. In the late 80s I went to an ENT, who recommended I take Sudafed for sinus drip. The same feelings of anxiety/and gloom came soon after. It was at that point I made the connection from years earlier. Back in the 70s, the idea of side effects was not something we really thought about. Now, I take inhalers; Symbicort for regular maintenance and have others as backup as necessary, along with Prednisone for when it's absoluely necessary. Thankfully medications have become more efficient and less problematic with side effects.

Bring Marax Back ! It was and is the Most Effective and Humane medication for sever Asthma attack
