User Comments about Phenergan + Codeine
17 Dec 2009 Phenergan with codeine was prescribed to me when I had an upper respiratory infection (a cold). I had a very bad cough and bad congestion. I only took it at night because it had a significant drowsiness effect on me. I had to take more than the recommended amount to notice an effect on my cough- and I didn't feel like it was much more effective than over the counter products- except for putting me to sleep. I also do not feel the phenylephrine helped much with my congestion so I continued to take Psuedophedrine for that.
