16 Nov 2010 I am having problems with short term memory loss. Some times feel like I am in early stages of alzheimer's. Also, have severe constipation.

03 Aug 2009 At first I had difficulty with Procardia XL because it made my feet swell and turn an unnatural shade of bright pink. However, I knew that was a common side effect so I kept taking it. I saw a great improvement in the circulation to my hands and feet which helped me overlook some of the problems it caused like bloating and constipation. It was not until one day after several months of taking the drug that my legs became so swollen that my ankles were the same size as my knees that I realized this drug was not safe for me to take. My feet were so enlarged that they could not fit in my size 6 shoe and I could not fit my feet into my friend's size 8 and 1/2. I experienced heart palpitations, shortness of breath, and when I laid down, my face also became swollen. I immediately stopped taking it and felt better within 2 days. My doctor still has been unable to explain what would trigger such a reaction after so much time. I would suggest using this medication with caution.
