13 Oct 2012 Been taking Red Yeast Rice for approx. 5 mos. and recently was identified as borderline anemic. Trying to determine if it's related.

02 Feb 2013 The same thing happened to me - first I was diagnosed as borderline anemic and then anemic. I stopped taking it 3 or 4 months ago. I have a lot more energy, but my blood hasn't been re-tested yet. Good luck. I don't think Red Yeast Rice is anything to fool around with.

18 Nov 2010 I was wondering if anyone with diabetes has ever taken red yeast rice for cholesterol? I just started taking it this week and my glucose went from normal range to way up over the 200 mark! The only change I made was the red yeast rice suppliment.
