Tri-Previfem Comments

I began taking tri previfem at the end of November. By the middle of December, I began noticing frequent diarrhea, and occasional blood in my bowel movements. BY January, I was having severe bleeding and diarrhea during almost every bowel movement, accompanied by lots of gas. I had a sigmoidoscopy done, and it turns out that my colon was inflamed, with a possible diagnosis of either IBS, Ulcerative colitis, or Crohns. I had NEVER had any of these issues in my life, before I began tri previfem, and its the only thing that changed prior to my condition. I researched it, and found that others reported gastro intenstinal issues also. Learn from my mistake and STAY AWAY.

My experience using tri-previfem in the beginning wasn't bad. Its been almost a year ive been taking it and now im getting all the side effects to the medication. Im tired all the time, migraines, joint aches, lower back and abdominal pains even when im not on my period, spotting exactly a week before my period for 4 months now and the following week I get my period, anxiety and depression!

06 Nov 2012	My fifteen year old daughter was prescribed this medication to help with painful periods and acne. Unfortunately it did not help with either. Instead she suffered from depression, anxiety, and seizures. After some very costly tests to rule out epilepsy, my husband and I decided to take her off this medication. That was the only other thing we had not tried. With in a week her seizures had stopped and her moode was much better.
