User Comments about Carac
07 Jan 2013 I do not recommend Carac. After two days, applying the cream once a day, I experienced shortness of breath and difficult healing of the application areas. It has been more than 60 days, I still have breathing problems and scabs where the Carac was applied. The MD froze a couple of other spots and they scabbed and totally healed in 7 days. I would not use Carac again and hope the shortness of breath effects wear off soon. I have notified the FDA.

07 Jan 2013 I took Carac for A Keritosos for 6 weeks as recommended by my dermatoligist. After two days, applying the cream once daily, I began to have a sore throat and shortness of breath. My MD recommended I continue the application as the side effects were (in his mind) not serious. At the end of 8 weeks I returned to my MD. He said the areas were healing well and the shortness of breath was not a result of applying CARAC. It is now over 60 days, after an emergency room visit, complete cardiac and pulminaryI examinations and I still have shortness of breath. Application areas are scabbed but not healed totally (60 days later). Prior to Carac I was a very healthy 82, taking no medication, to the amazement of my MD's. Carac definitely has negative effects on breathing. I am not a smoker and walk 2 miles each day. I filed a report with the FDA!

19 Apr 2009 I wasn't told that it could have possible side effects of raising blood pressure and chest pain. Even though I think what I went through may be rare, I think it should be listed on brochure and people should apply topical cream sparingly.
