The generic name of this medication is eszopiclone and brand name is Lunesta.

The active ingredients of this medication is eszopiclone and the inactive ingredients are calcium phosphate, colloidal silicon dioxide, croscarmellose sodium, hypromellose, lactose, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, polyethylene glycol, titanium dioxide, and triacetin.

Lunesta is manufactured by Sepracor Inc.

It is primarily used in treating sleep problems and associated symptoms like difficulty falling asleep; difficulty staying asleep during the night; and/or waking up too early in the morning.

06 Jan 2012 Helped me get a good night sleep. It also helped with restless leg syndrome. I did experience dizzyness though.

06 Sep 2011 There were two major reasons for me to stop taking Lunesta. 1.) I had generalized discomfort the next day and it got worse over time.2.) Total mental blocks. I couldn't remember something I always knew, I worked with computers for 10 years. Wish those two side effects did not exist, otherwise it was the perfect med.
